Making Abortion Unthinkable Presentation Description:
This 45-minute presentation gives participants an introduction the facts and reality of abortion in Canada and to the broader pro-life movement. An in-depth look will be given of how CCBR, the largest educational pro-life organization in Canada, reaches millions of Canadians each year with the truth about abortion. In the presentation, the speaker will take attendees through various successful social reform movements (abolition of the transatlantic slave trade, child labor reform, and the civil rights movement) transformed peoples’ beliefs about and feelings towards the injustice of the day. Telling the stories of these movements shows us how much hope there is for us to overcome abortion today, if we bring to bear the successful strategies of these largely Christian movements. Stories and statistical evidence will be shared of changed minds and saved lives, showing it is possible to transform culture on a large scale. This presentation concludes with exciting opportunities for attendees to get involved with CCBR’s ministry to defend pre-born children here in Manitoba. This presentation gives hope, motivation, and opportunity for people to get involved in the fight for life. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
